Procedural Haussmann Buildings

This is a Building Generator that generates Parisian Haussmann apartment buildings in Houdini. The tool uses 2D or 3D input geometry to create the shape of the building, which is then populated with handcrafted modules for windows, doors, and the like. The buildings can then also be further adjusted through a variety of user parameters in Houdini.

The tool was made using Houdini and runs in Houdini. The detail meshes were made in Maya, and the materials were made using Substance 3D Painter & Designer. The buildings shown here were captured in Unreal Engine 4.

This tool was made over the course of 7 weeks, as part of a procedural assignment for my second of IGAD at BUas. I learned a lot about Houdini and the procedural workflow throughout the making of this project.
