Rubber Toy Ritual
What do you do when you have a bunch of Houdini Test Geo toys lying around? You arrange them into a sacrificial ritual of course! Or well, that's what my teammates and I did in our office during last block.
And so when the time came to do some personal work, I decided to bring said ritual to life!
The Pighead and Rubber Toy meshes were pulled from Houdini, where I also made the 2 custom meshes for this piece.
The transformation effect was created using VDB morphing in Houdini, after which it was exported using VAT 3.0.
Aside from the toys and the VATs, the effect uses a singular flipbook texture, which was made in Substance Designer.
The effect was created in Unreal Engine 5, using Niagara and Blueprints, and can be spawned as a single asset.
The environment is from the Loft Office asset pack by Next Level 3D.
